The word theatre has its origins in the Greek Teatron -a seeing place-. In the current situation would it be possible to consider our different screens – TV, Phone, Computer – as spaces for theatre? Using spontaneous stories, could we turn our screens into a window; into a seeing place? If so, how can we use this virtual space to bring people closer, even if physically apart? This performative experiment begins with these questions, using famous paintings and other ‘framed’ images.
