MONKEY FEST
BOGOTÁ. 2011 -2019

Durante nueve años consecutivos, Bogotá fue el escenario de uno de los encuentros más vibrantes y transformadores de la impro: El Festival MonkeyFest. Gracias al trabajo apasionado del equipo de Picnic, tuvimos el privilegio de recibir a algunos de los maestros más destacados del mundo.

La sala del Teatro R101 vibró con la presencia de artistas como Patti Stiles (Australia), Joe Bill (EE. UU.), Lee White (Canadá), Angélica Rogel (México), Omar Galván (Argentina), entre muchos otros talentos excepcionales que compartieron su sabiduría y su corazón con la comunidad local.

Cada edición fue más que un festival: fue una fiesta de juego, de aprendizaje y de encuentro. Un espacio donde improvisadores se conocieron, crecieron y se inspiraron.

Gracias a todas las personas que lo hicieron posible y a quienes fueron parte de esta historia.

For nine consecutive years, Bogotá was the stage for one of the most vibrant and transformative impro gatherings: The MonkeyFest. Thanks to the passionate work PICNIC (The group), we had the privilege of welcoming some of the most renowned impro masters in the world.

The theater came alive with the presence of artists such as Patti Stiles (Australia), Joe Bill (USA), Lee White (Canada), Angélica Rogel (Mexico), Omar Galván (Argentina), among many other exceptional talents who shared their wisdom and heart with the local community.

Each edition was more than just a festival: it was a celebration of play, learning, and connection. A space where improvisers met, grew, and found inspiration.
